Duration: 12-months (fixed term contract)
Salary: Circa £50,000 p.a.

We are looking for a Programme Manager to join the Roretti team and work alongside our team of former public servants to support the delivery of a complex change programme in adult social care.
You will have experience of working in local government, specifically in children’s or adult social care and will have successfully delivered projects or programmes of change that have benefited customers and carers and delivered better outcomes for local people.
Ideally you will have had experience in implementing new care models, such as supported living or extra care housing, and will have worked with care providers, property teams in Councils, customers and other partners to identify land or property and lead a process to design and build new accommodation and support the transition of local authority customers to new settings.
You will be a former public servant with public service values that you share with our clients.
Main responsibilities
As a Roretti Programme Manager, you will oversee a variety of projects for our client encompassing multiple stakeholders throughout the business. Leveraging your outstanding interpersonal and strong programme management skills, you will guide the department's improvement journey. Your proven experience in managing complex change and improvement programmes within the health and social care sector will be essential. Key responsibilities include:
Monitoring and evaluating programme performance, making data-driven decisions, identifying areas for development and implementing effective solutions.
Identifying, assessing and mitigating potential risks and issues that may affect the successful delivery of the programme
Agreeing and implementing a clear and effective governance framework to support programme delivery and reduce impact of risks and issues
Working with key stakeholders to capture lessons learned in order to continuously improve the approach to programme delivery and capture learnings to share with clients to support best practice
Producing papers ahead of governance boards and where appropriate representing the programme by presenting those papers
Developing and maintaining key programme tools to drive progress and provide programme management best practice. Such tools should include, but is not limited to: programme scoping documents, programme plans, risk and issue registers, dependencies log, budgeting software, stakeholder lists, actions logs, Gantt charts and highlight reports
Leading and manage programmes within Adult Social Care, ensuring alignment with our client’s vision and goals
Understanding and overseeing programme collateral requirements and actively contributing in defining and continuously improving the production of supporting materials
Monitoring the completion of standard processes and activities to ensure regulatory compliance
Monitoring and reviewing financial activity to ensure the accurate completion of standard financial processes within budget and the provision of up to-date information to support decision making
Collaborating with internal and external partners to achieve positive outcomes for our stakeholders
Identifying and managing interdependencies between projects within the programme and ensuring there are no disruptions to project delivery
Organising and facilitating workshops with key stakeholders that achieve agreed outcomes and drive progress delivery
What we're looking for
A background in the public sector with proven experience in adults or children’s social care
A background in delivering complex change programmes by forming a consensus amongst different stakeholders with competing demands and demonstrating resilience to get the job done
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with specific skills and experience in using written program me management skills to drive delivery
Experience of organising and managing successful workshops and focus groups particularly working with external facilitators and experts
Sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and individuals in work planning and relationship building
Experience overseeing the development and delivery of concurrent programmes or activities, able to manage resources, including others, effectively to meet competing demands
An ability to seek value-adding improvements to processes, developing and implementing new ideas and able to contribute towards evaluation of ways of working
Able to build and maintain effective networks and partnerships internally and externally
An understanding of the context in which local government operates, and a desire to support public sector professionals
An ability to harness the benefits of working in teams, including across different departments and organisations
Good IT, literacy and numeracy skills
Proficient experience using Microsoft Office and other delivery tools, including: Planner, Visio, Kanban boards and Miro.
